Our History

1968 Sold the deer hides we collected and with the money from the tannery bought sweat shirts for the Star Prairie 4-H Softball team, it was a very successful project.  The Light Bulb sale was also a great success.  We held a fishing contest and netted (+/-) about $550.  We held a community dance for fun and as a small fund raiser.  Made $97 at the March card party.  Gave a skating party for 60 kids and served hot chocolate and donuts.  Held an auction and raised about $1,000 which was used for the Recreational Park.
